Not much going on here,just taking of all the out door stuff,this has put a damper on my sewing.
I do some wool applique,Embroidery,just need to get it all together,.

Cant wait to join Kevin the quilter on his mystery quilt.

Howdy Ladies an good  day to you all another great nigh with friends,food and lots of 

stitching,to night I make a new wallet a girl can't have to many.  I picked up the pattern up at 

MLGS,along with the fat quarters the fabric is the new line that came out in mid November

from Andover fabric from the show on PBS The Downton Abby,beautiful fabric and great show.

Sorry about the pictures its late at night and the lighting is not doing the fabric justice,I choose the Dowager Countess fat quarter its purple with some cream and black this is the inside and I must say the the zipper

went in with out any problems.

In the picture the frame looks gold but in fact it is silver,now just need to get everything in it and will be ready

to go shopping.  Well I enjoyed my time with all of you and hope to see you next month

Initial Valentime Swap

I have been hidden in the snow banks around our house for awhile,so I'm slowly digging my way back into sewing,with 2 eye surgery's in less then 2 weeks the vision is coming back,but it will take time.  So enough of that now onward and sewing,sooo where is what I have been working on  with one eye lol

I was in a heart swap and finished it up and now its on the way to my swap partner,this is all that 

that I can show of the front any more and she might know. 

This is the back I hope she will like it.

Now I have several things planed that I will be working on in the future and will post with the progress.

New items.

Some of the designs that I worked on today,I took a class for in the hoop.

and these are some of them not bad for the first time. 

The mug rug is one that I did first.

This on is so cute sure don't want to spill any hot chocolate on this little guy

How about some luggage tags,the back has clear plastic so you could use it as a

gift card holder or just stick some bills in it,again this is all done in the hoop.  you all have a great weekend,

This is the make and take that I did  a week ago with some friends, the leaf in the middle was a add on

1. The top picture are some blankets that I made for the vet who are in wheelchairs

I have been making scarf  I get done with one and make another on

Well here it is the 1st Friday night with a group of ladies who do some wonderful work. I have been working for the last 2 days on this table runner,I will be taking a class to finish it up so I will only show the top,we had to have it done before class,so I guess you will have to stop by next month to the the end results.

Last night I gather with some ladies for our Friday Nigh with Friends, I had most of my blocks cut,but as the night went as we all have to unsew a few stitches,because I was making HST at first so I just grab the next set and did the samething then went to iron the blocks and realized that they were not right so most of my night was ripping out stitchen so here are the only two blocks that I finished I have 2 more of each of the same block.

Friday Night with Frienda

Well this has been setting on my machine for awhile this is one of the Woolkeeper patterns, one of the local who has been putting small patterns togother for awhile I took one of here classes at the local quilt shop,I have most of the blanket sitches done and will be adding the flowers next.

I finish peacing the jelly roll quilt and made the binding along with the backing now just need to take it to the quilter,at first I was going to quilt but it got a little bigger then I want to do on my machine.

Here is the next Black Brown and Tan  the blocks are huge can't wait to see how these well be put togother.

Basket

This is the basket that I won from Prairie Stitches Quilt Shoppe.  In order to win this basket full of

beautiful fabric.  To win you had to make a jelly roll quilt top and show the shop and then your

name was put into a box for the drawing, I made three tops will show you at a later time.

some fat eights 2 spool of thread,Hex N more ruler a pattern for the ruler,some perfect circles

a bundle of spring wool from Blackberry Primitives a jelly roll,and some chocolate

2 different chocolate but I ate the other

Looks like a pures.  I found this pattern in a quilt magazine and just had to try it open it up and you have this.

 The cover of the journal  which was make several years ago and was waiting for me to finish,now to put the binding on and I put it on backward so much for sew way after your bedtime.

 not a good picture with the cutting mat as a background kind of fade right in not a good choice.
